Liverpool are making significant progress in their pursuit of Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi. Talks have advanced in the last few hours, with a deal reportedly worth ยฃ40M, including ยฃ35M fixed plus ยฃ5M in easily achievable bonuses.
The player has already agreed personal terms on a contract that will keep him at Anfield until June 2030.
Crystal Palace, however, have asked for time to find a suitable replacement before approving the transfer. Despite this, Liverpool are pushing to finalize the deal as soon as possible.
