In an exclusive interview with Cadena SER, Adama Traoré shared his heartfelt thoughts on his departure from Barcelona, expressing a mix of disappointment, regret, and hope for a potential return.
“I feel regret, maybe a bitter feeling, because any player from the Barcelona academy wants to stay,” Traoré confessed.
Traoré revealed that his loan stint was impacted by a change in dynamics with coach Xavi, who opted to rely on Ousmane Dembélé instead.
“I came to replace Dembélé, but Xavi chose to rely on him. These are learning stages,” Traoré reflected.
Despite the setback, Traoré’s affection for Barcelona remains unwavering.
“As an academy graduate, I will always be a supporter of Barcelona. If there’s a chance to return, why not? But it has to be under different circumstances.”
