FULL-TIME REPORT: Arsenal 2–2 Crystal Palace

Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw at home by a resilient Crystal Palace side in a thrilling Premier League encounter at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners made an ideal start as Jakub Kiwior fired them into the lead in the 3rd minute with a well-taken goal. The momentum continued in Arsenal’s favour, and Leandro Trossard doubled the advantage in the 42nd minute after some excellent build-up play.

Despite the strong start, Crystal Palace responded with determination. Eberechi Eze pulled one back with a composed finish in the 27th minute, and Jean-Philippe Mateta capitalized on a late defensive lapse to level the score in the 83rd minute.

The result sees Arsenal remain in second place in the Premier League standings, as the title race intensifies. With just a few games remaining, every point is crucial in the Gunners’ pursuit of silverware.

Next up for Mikel Arteta’s side is a massive UEFA Champions League semi-final first-leg clash against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, April 29 — a fixture that promises to be pivotal in Arsenal’s season.
