Leeds Hold AC Milan to 1–1 Draw in Final Pre-Season Friendly
Newly promoted Leeds United capped off their pre-season campaign with a hard-fought 1–1 draw against AC Milan at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
The Italian giants took the lead late in the first half through Santiago Giménez, but Leeds hit back in the 67th minute when Anton Stach curled home a superb equaliser.
The result provides a morale boost for Daniel Farke’s men ahead of their Premier League return next weekend, as they prepare to take on top-flight challenges after securing promotion last season.
The match also marked the first meeting between the clubs since the 2000–01 UEFA Champions League group stage. The Aviva Stadium was buzzing, with tens of thousands of fans in attendance for this international club clash.
