Omorinsola “Rinsola” Babajide made headlines in Nigeriaβs WAFCON 2024 opener with a stunning performance that saw her register both a goal and an assist in just 45 minutes of action against Tunisia.
The UDG Tenerife winger, who only made her senior debut for the Super Falcons in late 2023, opened her international goal account in style. Babajide delivered a pin-point assist for Asisat Oshoalaβs early opener before calmly slotting home Nigeriaβs second goal right before halftime.
Her goal, which came in the 45th+1 minute, was confirmed after a brief VAR check and marked a major milestone in her international career.
