PSG Held to 1-1 Draw by Nantes but Extend Historic Unbeaten Run

Paris Saint-Germain were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Nantes tonight at the Stade de la Beaujoire, but the result was enough to extend their remarkable unbeaten away run to 39 matches—a new record in Europe’s top five leagues.

Vitinha Opens the Scoring

PSG took the lead in the 33rd minute through a classy finish from Vitinha, who was set up by an inch-perfect pass from Lee Kang-in. The visitors dominated possession but couldn’t build on their advantage.

Late Equalizer from Nantes

Nantes refused to back down and found their equalizer in the 83rd minute when Douglas Augusto struck after a powerful run and setup by Matthis Abline. The home crowd erupted as the hosts salvaged a crucial point in their fight to avoid relegation.

Almost a Winner

In the dying moments of stoppage time, PSG’s Gonçalo Ramos came inches from restoring the lead, but his header crashed against the crossbar, denying the champions a last-gasp winner.

Remain unbeaten in the 2024–25 Ligue 1 season
