Real Madrid Beat Sevilla 2-0 to End Year on a High

Real Madrid closed out their La Liga campaign for the year with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabéu, delivering a composed and professional performance in front of their home fans.

The breakthrough came in the 38th minute when Jude Bellingham continued his impressive form, finding the back of the net to give Los Blancos a deserved lead after sustained pressure. Madrid controlled possession for most of the first half, limiting Sevilla’s attacking threat.

Sevilla’s task became even more difficult in the second half after Marcão was shown a red card, leaving the visitors with ten men. Real Madrid took full advantage, patiently moving the ball and creating chances.

Late in the game, Kylian Mbappé sealed the victory from the penalty spot in the 86th minute, capping off a strong all-round performance. The goal also marked a significant milestone for the French star, as he equaled a major goalscoring record in the calendar year.

The win strengthens Real Madrid’s position in the La Liga title race and sends a clear message to their rivals as the season progresses.
