Arsenal Crowned Emirates Cup Champions After 3–0 Win Over Athletic Bilbao
Arsenal wrapped up their pre-season in style, defeating Athletic Club Bilbao 3–0 at the Emirates Stadium to lift the 2025 Emirates Cup.
Viktor Gyökeres scored his first goal for the club with a well-timed header from a Martin Zubimendi cross. Bukayo Saka doubled the lead with a clinical finish, before Kai Havertz sealed the victory with a brilliant solo effort.
After the final whistle, both teams contested a friendly penalty shootout, which Arsenal also won 6–5.
The result is a perfect confidence boost ahead of the Premier League 2025/26 opener against Manchester United next weekend.
