PSG Fall Short as Bayern Edge Them 2–1 in Paris
It was a night of high drama at the Parc des Princes as Paris Saint-Germain suffered a narrow 2–1 defeat to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.
Bayern took early control of the game, thanks to a brilliant first-half performance from Luis Díaz, who bagged a quick brace to silence the Parisian crowd. However, the Colombian’s night ended in disappointment after he was shown a red card following a reckless challenge in the second half.
Despite being a man down, Bayern defended resolutely and frustrated PSG’s attacking trio. The home side finally pulled one back in the 74th minute through João Neves, but it wasn’t enough to rescue a point.
The result leaves Bayern unbeaten and sitting comfortably at the top of their group, while PSG’s hopes of finishing first took a major hit.
Full-Time: PSG 1–2 Bayern Munich
