Arsenal Cruise Past Slavia Prague to Extend Perfect Champions League Run
Arsenal continued their incredible form in Europe with a dominant 3-0 victory over Slavia Prague in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
Bukayo Saka opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute after being brought down inside the box. Spanish midfielder Mikel Merino added two superb goals in the second half to seal all three points for Mikel Arteta’s men.
The win keeps Arsenal’s 100% record in this season’s Champions League intact and marks their 10th consecutive victory in all competitions. Even more impressive, the Gunners have now kept eight straight clean sheets, setting a new club record not seen since 1903.
