Mohamed Salah has reunited with Isaac Kearney, the young Liverpool superfan who captured the hearts of fans around the world.
Isaac, who was born with Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, became widely known through videos of him singing Liverpool chants and showing his love for Salah and the Reds. His bond with Salah grew after the Egyptian star and Virgil van Dijk surprised him at his school in 2024. He later visited Liverpool’s training ground and served as a matchday mascot at Anfield.
After Salah’s move to Trabzonspor this summer, the Turkish club decided that the story shouldn’t end there.
Trabzonspor flew Isaac and his family from England to Türkiye as special guests, arranging a surprise reunion with Salah. Isaac even received a new Salah Trabzonspor shirt during the journey before finally meeting his hero again at the club’s training ground.
The reunion was priceless. 🥹❤️
Isaac ran towards Salah, who welcomed him with a huge smile and open arms. He was also introduced to Salah’s new teammates and got the chance to train and kick a ball with the players.
