Lucas Paquetá Expected to Be Cleared of Match-Fixing Charges After Two-Year Investigation

Brazilian midfielder Lucas Paquetá is reportedly on the verge of being cleared of all match-fixing allegations following a thorough two-year investigation by the English Football Association (FA).

According to MailSport, the final decision is expected to be officially announced next week, between Monday, July 28th and Wednesday, July 30th.

The case, which has been under the spotlight since its inception, involved allegations concerning suspicious betting patterns related to yellow cards received by the West Ham star. However, after an extensive review of the evidence, the FA appears poised to drop all charges.

If confirmed, this would come as a huge relief to both Paquetá and his club, West Ham United, with the Brazilian international now expected to focus fully on his football without further legal distractions.

📌 Stay tuned for official confirmation in the coming days.
