Endrick Continues Recovery as Real Madrid Take No Risks
Endrick’s return to action is taking a little longer than expected. 🇧🇷
The young Brazilian forward is continuing to follow a specific recovery and training programme as he works his way back from a muscle problem, according to journalist Arancha RodrĂguez.
Endrick has already missed the opening stages of Real Madrid’s 2026/27 campaign after experiencing discomfort in his hamstring area. The issue also kept him out of the club’s final pre-season friendly against Schalke.
Madrid aren’t taking any chances
Rather than rushing the 20-year-old back, Real Madrid are opting for a cautious approach.
Endrick is currently working individually instead of fully training with the squad, with the priority being to resolve the muscular problem properly before he returns to competitive action.
For a player whose explosiveness and physical intensity are such important parts of his game, managing the recovery carefully will be crucial.
A frustrating start to a big season
The timing is particularly unfortunate for Endrick.
After returning from his loan spell at Lyon, where he showed flashes of his enormous potential, the Brazilian was expected to compete for an important role in JosĂ© Mourinho’s Real Madrid squad this season.
Instead, injury has temporarily interrupted those plans.
There is currently no confirmed return date, although reports indicate that Madrid’s immediate priority is getting him fully fit rather than setting an aggressive comeback deadline.
Madrid fans will be waiting
Endrick remains one of the most exciting young talents at the Santiago Bernabéu, and his return will give Mourinho another attacking option.
For now, however, the message is simple:
Recover properly. Return stronger. No unnecessary risks.
The season is long, and Real Madrid will want Endrick available when he is truly ready.
Get well soon, Endrick. The Bernabéu is waiting.
