Arsenal Prepare Another Move for Julián Álvarez as £100m+ Transfer Looms!
🚨
Arsenal could be ready to make another major statement in the transfer market! 🔴⚪️💣
The Gunners are reportedly preparing another attempt to sign Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez, with a potential move in January now being considered.
According to TEAMtalk, the 26-year-old Argentine forward is seriously considering a move to Arsenal after previously prioritising Barcelona. He is also reportedly unhappy about the prospect of remaining at Atlético Madrid for the long term.
Arsenal’s interest in Álvarez is not new. Last summer, the North London club were reportedly prepared to spend over £100 million to secure his signature.
Sporting director Andrea Berta even held face-to-face talks with Atlético Madrid over a possible deal, highlighting how seriously Arsenal were considering the move.
Now, with another attempt reportedly on the cards, could Mikel Arteta finally get his man?
Álvarez’s versatility, movement, pressing ability and eye for goal could make him a major addition to Arsenal’s attack as they continue their pursuit of silverware.
However, a deal will depend on Atlético Madrid’s willingness to negotiate and whether Arsenal can agree on terms.
Gunners fans, would you welcome Julián Álvarez to Arsenal? 👀🔴⚪️
Would he be the missing piece in Arteta’s attack, or should Arsenal focus on other targets?
